I actually decided to go with a clinical position at a hospital (I’m a pharmacist) instead of accepting the medical writer role. I did receive vague feedback on one particular test that my writing was very good, but they never specified what was lacking, if there even was. I still am not sure if was necessarily due to my writing skills or because of the competitiveness of the field, but I’m hoping it was more of the latter. It definitely was both a frustrating and time-consuming process completing writing test after writing test, only to later get rejected. It took me a while (probably over 6 months) until I finally received a offer. ![]() Just chiming in because I had a similar experience. ![]()
